What you will do

• Implement technical solutions for Business Operations, including data historians, reporting, and business intelligence systems.
• Manage IT projects related to generation management (GMS), market integration, and settlements.
• Develop procedures and applications to maintain safe and secure operations systems that meet regulatory standards.
• Provide real-time support for System Operators, Generation Dispatch, and Power Marketing personnel.
• Drive business process improvements by identifying and documenting gaps.
• Participate in a 24x7 weekly on-call rotation for production support up to one week per month.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or minimum 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of interfaces, integrations, and process flows.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and experience with various project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA/DA) or SCADA/EMS historian integration.
• Intermediate experience maintaining critical applications in Cloud and data center environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft technology stack: .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency with RDBMS Databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Hitachi Network Manager EMS and enterprise data historian systems.
