What you will do

• Define and lead the evolution of core search and indexing capabilities within hirify.globalsearch.
• Research and implement advances in search infrastructure, data structures, and retrieval algorithms.
• Drive the long-term technical vision for search, indexing, and query execution layers.
• Collaborate with product teams and partners to shape the technical roadmap.
• Mentor expert engineers and provide technical guidance across the organization.
• Act as a go-to expert for core search domains, continuously improving system efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in Poland
• Proven experience leading technical projects in search infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Deep hands-on experience with hirify.globalsearch, Lucene, or Solr.
• Strong proficiency in core Java, advanced data structures, and concurrency constructs.
• Experience defining long-term technical vision and roadmaps for core systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience working with open source projects.
• Familiarity with various source control workflows and continuous integration practices.
