Salary: $5,000–$9,500 per month

What you will do
- Design and build backend services in Golang for payment processors and card networks.
- Own end-to-end money-movement flows including authorization, settlement, and dispute handling.
- Develop idempotent, fault-tolerant, and auditable transaction processing systems.
- Operate within PCI DSS scope, ensuring secure handling of payment data.
- Instrument and monitor payment health to drive continuous performance improvements.
- Utilize AI tools like Claude to accelerate design, coding, and documentation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience in payments or fintech.
- Strong proficiency in Go or comparable experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with payment processors, gateways, and acquiring systems.
- Experience with distributed architectures and queuing tools like Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
- Demonstrated, hands-on use of Claude or equivalent LLMs to enhance productivity.
- Must be based in Turkey.
Nice to have
- Experience with Adyen, Stripe, Marqeta, or Fiserv.
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, 3DS/SCA, and network tokenization.
- Experience with observability platforms like Prometheus, Datadog, or New Relic.
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes on AWS.
