What you will do

• Own and maintain the Testim production codebase: diagnose production issues, manage technical debt, and deliver incremental product improvements.
• Use AI agentic development workflows for code navigation, root-cause analysis, and change impact assessment while maintaining high code quality.
• Collaborate with product management and UX to translate business requirements into well-scoped solutions.
• Handle the full development lifecycle (requirements analysis, implementation, testing) for both maintenance and new features.
• Perform thorough code and design reviews and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Support customers with the support and customer success organizations and contribute to secondary engineering projects (e.g., DevOps pipelines and tooling).

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack software development experience maintaining and evolving production-grade systems at scale.
• Multi-year hands-on experience with React, Node.js, and MongoDB, with strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• 1+ years of experience working in a senior engineering capacity (or equivalent scope of contribution).
• Experience developing cloud services and working effectively in large existing codebases.
• Hands-on experience with AI agentic development workflows, including prompt/context engineering, multi-agent orchestration, and evaluating AI-generated code for quality and maintainability.
• Ability to work in an agile development team and communicate technical ideas clearly in writing and verbally.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines and cloud operations (monitoring, observability, logging).
• Experience with test automation or test tooling, and familiarity with browser inner workings (DOM, rendering, devtools protocol).
• Experience with mobile development and strong understanding of current frontend development trends.
