What you will do

• Co-define and execute EU and French public affairs strategies aligned with growth and funding objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on political, regulatory, and institutional matters.
• Lead engagement with EU institutions, including the European Commission and Parliament.
• Manage relationships with French ministries, regulators, and institutional partners.
• Identify policy-driven risks and opportunities related to regulation, funding, and public procurement.
• Draft position papers, consultation responses, and strategic briefings for senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in EU and/or French public affairs within regulated sectors.
• Proven track record of engaging directly with EU institutions and French public authorities at a senior level.
• French: Native or fluent proficiency required.
• English: Fluent proficiency required.
• Strong understanding of how public policy impacts business models and market access.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in startups or scale-ups.
• Proficiency in additional EU languages.
