Storm Engine Test Bench Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Munich, Germany. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are provided.

What you will do

• Build and maintain the integrated test bench delivery plan, owning the critical path and milestone readiness criteria.
• Lead the identification and selection of a suitable test bench location, conducting assessments and presenting decision packages to leadership.
• Coordinate alignment between propulsion engineering, test engineering, facilities, procurement, and site teams.
• Manage long-lead procurement, including supplier selection (RFI/RFQ), onboarding, and performance monitoring.
• Track integration and commissioning prerequisites, ensuring procedures, tooling, and documentation are ready.
• Prepare concise status and risk reporting for program leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or similar.
• Significant experience delivering complex test infrastructure or propulsion test programs.
• Strong understanding of propulsion testing, cryogenic systems, and hazardous operations.
• Experience with LOX/methane engine testing or cryogenic facilities.
• Familiarity with European space programs and standards (e.g., ECSS, ESA-style reviews).
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French or German.
• Experience with regulated industrial sites, permitting, or environmental compliance.
• Background in high-cadence test operations.
