TL;DR
Nutrition Technical Advisor (Nutrition/Public Health): Providing technical leadership and strategic guidance for integrated community nutrition programs across the Africa region with an accent on CMAM/IMAM frameworks and multisectoral integration. Focus on capacity strengthening, quality assurance, and scaling up evidence-based nutrition interventions in humanitarian and development contexts.
Location: Must be based in Nairobi, Kenya, with frequent travel (at least 60%) across Africa and periodic travel to Israel.

What you will do
- Provide strategic technical leadership for nutrition programming across Africa country offices.
- Lead capacity-strengthening initiatives, including training, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching for staff and partners.
- Ensure high-quality implementation of community-based nutrition interventions in line with WHO and international standards.
- Strengthen MEAL systems, data collection, and evidence-based reporting to inform program performance.
- Represent the organization in national and regional nutrition technical working groups and clusters.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure proper management of nutrition commodities and protocols.
Requirements
- BSc in Nutrition and Master's degree in Nutrition or Public Health.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in senior nutrition roles.
- Fluency in English required.
- Strong expertise in community-based nutrition programming (CMAM/IMAM/MIYCN).
- Proven experience in humanitarian and development nutrition programming.
- Ability to travel frequently (60% of time) across Africa and to Israel.
