What you will do

• Create particle, rigid body, fluid, cloth, fur, and hair simulations.
• Produce high-end effects including smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam, and explosions.
• Utilize Houdini, Maya, and custom pipeline tools to process 3D assets.
• Implement voxel-based rendering for complex visual effects.
• Collaborate with Build, Layout, and Animation departments to integrate 3D assets into simulations.

Requirements

• Proven production experience on multiple high-end VFX feature films.
• Extensive knowledge of Houdini.
• Proven experience in live action FX work.
• Thorough understanding of physical simulation techniques and timing in computer graphics.
• Familiarity with node-based compositing applications, preferably Nuke.

Nice to have

• Experience in TV or Games visual effects.
• Knowledge of Python, Hscript VEX, or Mel.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix based operating systems.
• General Technical Director (TD) background.
