TL;DR
Institutional Relationship Manager (Web3): Developing and managing high-value institutional client portfolios for a leading crypto exchange with an accent on asset acquisition, trading volume growth, and consultative product sales. Focus on building long-term trust with professional investment firms, asset managers, and quantitative trading teams while coordinating bespoke solutions across internal product and compliance teams.
Location: Remote (APAC region). Must be comfortable with frequent travel and in-person client visits.

What you will do
- Identify and acquire high-value institutional clients including investment firms, asset managers, and family offices.
- Develop deep understanding of client trading strategies to provide tailored product recommendations and service solutions.
- Take full ownership of key performance metrics including AUM, trading volume, and revenue contribution.
- Coordinate with internal product, risk, and compliance teams to deliver bespoke solutions for key institutional partners.
- Maintain regular engagement to foster long-term trust and platform stickiness.
- Track market intelligence and competitor strategies to inform internal business development and product roadmaps.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Web3 industry with hands-on knowledge of exchanges, wallets, or DeFi products.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) is mandatory.
- Strong background in relationship management, client service, or account operations.
- Basic understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and risk-return profiles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Ability to work in a high-intensity environment with frequent travel requirements.
