What you will do

• Develop and validate analytical models for AML typology detection, customer risk rating, and KYC/KYB risk scoring.
• Translate complex compliance and regulatory requirements into well-defined analytical problems and detection strategies.
• Conduct exploratory analysis on on-chain and off-chain datasets to identify patterns and develop model features.
• Implement AI-assisted coding practices using LLM tools to accelerate the development and review of analytical code.
• Collaborate with ML and data engineers to ensure analytical logic is production-ready and data quality is validated.
• Maintain detailed documentation and support regulatory audits, lookbacks, and ad hoc investigations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analytics, focusing on compliance or financial crime within fintech or crypto.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with applied experience in supervised, unsupervised, and anomaly detection ML methods.
• Experience with big data platforms such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, or MaxCompute.
• Strong understanding of AML, KYC/KYB, sanctions, and transaction monitoring concepts.
• Current right to work in Singapore (sponsorship is not provided).
• Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development and LLM coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in the crypto ecosystem and familiarity with on-chain data and blockchain analytics.
