What you will do

• Design and optimize large-scale cloud platform infrastructure and services across multiple environments.
• Lead the development of automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform.
• Build and maintain advanced monitoring, alerting, and observability implementations.
• Manage incident response, conduct post-mortems, and drive continuous system improvement.
• Enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure and access control.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead capacity planning and performance optimization efforts.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in SRE or DevOps focusing on scalable cloud-based systems.
• Expertise with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and distributed architectures.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• English: C1 (Excellent communication skills) required.
• Location: Must be based in Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience managing distributed NoSQL databases in production.
• Cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, etc.).
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).
• Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible.
