What you will do

• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including the development of custom themes and plugins.
• Translate visual designs into functional, responsive, and cross-browser experiences using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Integrate external APIs into new and existing websites to extend functionality.
• Test and debug websites to ensure high performance, security, and accessibility standards.
• Implement technical SEO best practices to support organic growth and visibility.
• Leverage the proprietary Nova ecosystem to optimize business processes and data intelligence.

Requirements

• 3+ years of web development experience with a strong focus on custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with server administration and hosting environments.
• Advanced level of spoken and written English proficiency.
• Must be based in Nicaragua.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare websites or HIPAA encryption standards.
• Familiarity with Webflow, Drupal, React, Angular, Twig, or Node.
