TL;DR
QA Engineer (eCommerce): Ensuring the quality and reliability of complex eCommerce applications through automated testing with an accent on TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber. Focus on implementing BDD-based test suites, performing UI/API/DB validation, and maintaining high coverage within a fast-paced Agile environment.
Location: Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid: 4 days/week in office).

What you will do
- Develop and maintain automated tests using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber.
- Execute UI, API, and database testing to ensure platform stability.
- Implement BDD approaches using Gherkin to define test scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers in daily stand-ups and the software development lifecycle.
- Perform accessibility and visual testing to maintain high-quality user experiences.
- Utilize UNIX commands and log verification for backend troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal and able to work in a hybrid model.
- Solid experience in test automation using TypeScript, Playwright, and Cucumber.
- Hands-on experience with BDD, Gherkin, and RESTful service testing.
- Proficiency in backend testing, including SQL querying and database familiarity (DB2, Oracle).
- Experience with CI/CD environments and source control systems like GitHub or BitBucket.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced Agile team.
Nice to have
- Experience in the retail sector or with eCommerce platforms like Magento, Hybris, or IBM WebSphere.
- Familiarity with Cypress, Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps tools.
- Experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
