TL;DR
Principal AI Engineer (Web3): Spearheading the design, development, and optimization of autonomous AI agent systems for a global crypto exchange with an accent on multi-agent frameworks, reinforcement learning, and real-time decision-making. Focus on architecting scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions for trading, risk detection, and customer interaction.
Location: Must be based in or able to work in Hong Kong or Singapore. Applicants for Singapore must have a current right to work and do not require visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Lead the design and lifecycle management of autonomous AI agents for crypto operations including trading, risk, and fraud prevention.
- Architect multi-agent systems (MAS) supporting reasoning, planning, and reinforcement learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define agent roles and measurable KPIs.
- Drive experimentation and continuous learning pipelines to optimize agent performance.
- Mentor AI scientists and engineers while defining the AI research strategy and roadmap.
- Ensure scalability, security, and regulatory compliance of AI-powered solutions.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
- Proven track record building and deploying autonomous AI agents in live environments.
- Experience with multi-agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGPT, or similar.
- Expertise in goal-oriented agents, memory management, and RL-based decision making.
- Must have current right to work in Singapore for Singapore-based applications.
Nice to have
- Experience in top-tier AI labs or tech industry leaders.
- Background in high-frequency trading, fintech, or Web3 platforms.
- Experience operating in research-intensive or startup environments.
