TL;DR

Paid Search Specialist (SEM/Google Ads): Managing and optimizing Google Search and Performance Max campaigns to drive high-quality lead generation for premium brands with an accent on Smart Bidding and conversion-based optimization. Focus on maximizing CPL efficiency, refining audience signals, and implementing advanced search operations.

Location: Hybrid in Guatemala City (average of four days a week in office)

What you will do

  • Build and manage Paid Search and Performance Max campaigns tailored for lead generation.
  • Optimize campaigns using Smart Bidding strategies (Target CPA, Maximize Conversions) to prioritize high-intent actions.
  • Monitor daily media spend and strategically reallocate budgets based on CPL efficiency and search trends.
  • Perform deep search operations including Search Query Reports, DSA optimization, negative keyword mapping, and A/B testing.
  • Analyze performance data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations for lead capture.
  • Conduct QA on live ads and collaborate with analytics teams to ensure correct conversion tag firing.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of dedicated SEM/PMax experience with a strong focus on lead generation.
  • Advanced, daily hands-on expertise with Google Ads.
  • Proven ability to use automation and Smart Bidding to hit target CPLs.
  • Mastery of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups) for pacing, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical aptitude for calculating core media metrics (CTR, CPC, CPL/CPA, Conversion Rate).
  • Must be based in Guatemala City for hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

  • Google Ads Search and Measurement certifications.
  • Experience with Search Ads 360 (SA360) or Google Merchant Center (GMC).
