What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable Python APIs and backend services using FastAPI.
• Build and optimize production-grade LLM applications utilizing OpenAI and Anthropic providers.
• Implement end-to-end RAG solutions, including vector databases and retrieval optimization.
• Develop secure MCP servers and orchestrate multi-agent systems to automate complex workflows.
• Refine prompts and LLM interactions to enhance overall solution quality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish AI engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in API development with Python.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and experimenting with LLMs.
• Must be based in Germany, France, or Switzerland.
• Proven track record of releasing generative AI solutions to production at scale.
• Deep expertise in RAG systems, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Proficiency with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM guardrails, monitoring, and observability.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience building evaluation harnesses, regression suites, and quality metrics for LLM systems.
