What you will do

• Identify and improve security controls across compute, platform engineering, and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead threat modelling and code review exercises for new and complex architectures.
• Design and develop security tools, libraries, and services for internal engineering teams.
• Advise infrastructure engineers on cloud security best practices and design patterns.
• Discover and triage vulnerabilities across the company's threat landscape.
• Mentor and support the growth of fellow security engineers.

Requirements

• Must be based in Melbourne, Australia.
• Experience conducting infrastructure-focused security design reviews and risk assessments.
• Proven ability to audit and remediate security issues across the DevOps ecosystem.
• Deep expertise in securing cloud environments like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
