What you will do

  • Provide full-service licensing oversight and consultation for pharmaceutical, device, and 3PL clients.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of state licenses, including applications, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Conduct regulatory research to interpret state statutes and agency guidance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and state regulatory agencies to resolve licensing issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure continuous audit readiness through strict adherence to standards.
  • Support business development by providing subject-matter expertise during sales and scoping calls.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in state licensing and regulatory compliance within pharma or healthcare.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, public policy, or a scientific discipline.
  • Proven experience preparing and submitting state license applications (Wholesale, 3PL, Pharmacy).
  • Must be based in Chicago, IL, USA to perform office-based essential functions.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle high-volume, detail-oriented processes.
  • Experience managing or mentoring technical resources.

Nice to have

  • Master’s, PhD, or PharmD degree.
  • Experience working with state boards of pharmacy and the FDA.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations such as DSCSA and DEA requirements.
  • Prior experience in client-facing consulting or service delivery.
