What you will do

• Design and maintain back-end services and front-end components for the IPE application.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with large relational databases.
• Deliver complex development tasks and production fixes to meet client deadlines.
• Implement automated tests to ensure quality and regression coverage.
• Apply secure coding practices including authentication and authorization controls.
• Support workflows for trade confirmations, reporting, and collateral management.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong background in service-oriented or microservices-based architectures.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and working with MS SQL Server or Sybase.
• Experience handling high data volumes and real-time processing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office in a hybrid model.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the securities trade lifecycle (Middle and Back Office).
• Experience with SAFe Agile, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of clearance and settlement workflows.
