What you will do
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare interim and final valuations to ensure financial control.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve cost-related issues.
- Manage final accounts, including settlement of contractor claims and dispute resolution.
- Administer contracts, including drafting tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating terms.
- Ensure compliance with Cyprus construction regulations, building codes, and health & safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the Cyprus construction industry.
- Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken) is essential.
- Familiarity with Cyprus construction laws, tendering processes, and contract types (e.g., FIDIC).
- Proficiency in QS software (CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Membership with the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ΞΞ€ΞΞ) or RICS is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building certifications.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects in Cyprus.
