TL;DR

Senior Sustainability Specialist (ESG): Driving ESG-related legal and regulatory compliance and sustainability reporting across multiple jurisdictions with an accent on non-financial data management and corporate governance. Focus on integrating responsible business practices into operations and supporting organizational transformation initiatives.

What you will do

  • Monitor ESG-related laws, regulations, and trends across different jurisdictions to assess business impact.
  • Provide legal and compliance guidance on ESG topics to internal stakeholders and management.
  • Conduct internal audits and gap assessments of ESG-related policies and processes.
  • Coordinate ESG-related disclosures and support sustainability reporting in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and People teams to integrate ESG requirements.
  • Design and deliver internal ESG training and awareness sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or Sustainability.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in ESG or Corporate Sustainability roles within BIG4 consulting.
  • Proven experience in the audit of non-financial reporting and ESG ratings.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting frameworks including IFRS, ESRS, GRI, SASB, and CDP.
  • Experience in strategic planning and corporate governance frameworks within large organizations.
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-level stakeholders.
