What you will do

• Automate backend services and integrations with a primary focus on API tests.
• Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks using RestAssured and JSON validation.
• Perform data validation and integrity checks using relational databases and SQL procedures.
• Dockerize test frameworks and integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Work with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Collaborate with developers for early validation and analyze test results to eliminate flakiness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation or Development.
• Solid experience in API automation testing (RestAssured, JSON validation).
• Deep understanding of backend systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL) and Docker.
• Knowledge of modern UI automation tools like Playwright or Selenide.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and Test Management tools (e.g., TestRail, Allure).

Nice to have

• Experience with contract testing (PACT or similar).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Ability to boost routine activities using AI tools and agents.
• Performance testing experience.
