TL;DR

HR Lead (Impact): Owning the full HR function for the Foundation with an accent on C&B, grading systems, and personnel records management. Focus on scaling HR operations, automating processes, and driving corporate culture across Kazakhstan and project countries.

Location: Must be based in Almaty, Kazakhstan (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain the C&B system, including grading and benefits administration.
  • Manage personnel records and reporting in compliance with Kazakhstan labor law.
  • Lead recruitment efforts across Kazakhstan and international project locations.
  • Drive corporate culture and implement values-based translation tools.
  • Oversee staff assessment, development plans, and HR process automation.
  • Analyze wage fund usage and conduct regular labor market reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR and C&B.
  • English proficiency of at least C1+.
  • Deep knowledge of Kazakhstan tax and labor legislation.
  • Must be based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, data visualization).
  • Experience with AI tools and transformational projects.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with external suppliers and agencies.
  • Background in scaling HR functions within non-profit or impact-driven organizations.
