What you will do

• Translate business strategy and domain needs into detailed architectural blueprints.
• Define platform standards, data ownership models, and data lifecycle processes.
• Lead and coordinate multiple agile data teams to ensure architectural alignment.
• Align cross-organizational stakeholders across Aftermarket, central IT, and Group Data departments.
• Design and optimize Cloud Data Platform components including Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake, and Purview.
• Implement advanced data modeling, lineage, and governance principles.

Requirements

• Profound expertise in Cloud Data Platform components (Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake, Purview).
• Advanced knowledge of data modeling techniques such as Data Vault, Dimensional, and Canonical Models.
• Experience with pipeline orchestration and integration using ADF, PySpark, and Synapse Pipelines.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code for cost and performance optimization.
• Strong leadership skills for coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Porto, Portugal.
