What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux distributions across physical and virtual servers.
• Automate routine administration tasks and server provisioning using Bash and Python.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve resource bottlenecks.
• Manage security patches, firewall configurations, and user access permissions.
• Design and execute system backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Maintain business applications including Jira, Confluence, ERP systems, and repositories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel architecture, filesystems, and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with hypervisors and cloud platforms such as VMware or AWS.
• Ability to maintain technical communication with client engineers.
