What you will do

• Execute detailed test plans and test cases to verify product features and functionality.
• Analyze user stories to identify edge cases and collaborate with developers to ensure testability.
• Perform manual and automated tests on VPN client/server applications across Windows, Android, MacOS, and iOS.
• Utilize Azure cloud, VMWare, and various physical/virtual network environments for validation.
• Report defects, verify fixes, and serve as a primary advocate for product quality.
• Develop and optimize internal test tools and automation scripts to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or another STEM field.
• Must be based in the Victoria, BC region.
• Internship or 1 year of hands-on software testing experience.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud environments and networking troubleshooting (Windows or Linux).
• Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark or NetMon.
• Basic knowledge or curiosity regarding test automation using Python, Selenium, or C#.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing.
• Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
• Knowledge of AI tools for enhancing development or testing efficiency.
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, or Portuguese.
