Salary: 40,000 – 45,000 MXN gross per month

What you will do

• Create and maintain a wide range of PBR materials and surface treatments following the project's visual direction.
• Build and manage Substance Designer graphs for tileable materials, trims, and surface details.
• Collaborate with Environment Artists to ensure consistent material integration across in-game environments.
• Develop and document material workflows, standards, and libraries.
• Identify and resolve material-related bugs during production and post-production phases.
• Mentor other artists and create style guides to standardize organizational workflows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in AAA video game production with at least one shipped title.
• Proficiency in Substance Designer and Substance Painter.
• Deep understanding of PBR workflows, UV layout, texel density, and texture optimization.
• Strong grasp of composition, color theory, and physical properties of real-world surfaces.
• English: B2 or higher required.
• Must submit a strong portfolio demonstrating artistic approach to material creation.
