What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop the local engineering team.
• Set technical priorities, allocate resources, and oversee project delivery.
• Work directly with customers to define solutions for site-specific challenges.
• Guide product design, field trials, validation, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to support product commercialization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and intellectual property requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 12 years of experience in design engineering or product development within the mining industry.
• Proven experience leading and developing technical professionals.
• Strong knowledge of mineral processing equipment and wear products.
• Fluent Spanish required; professional working proficiency in English.
• Valid driver’s licence and availability to travel to customer and mine sites within Chile and the SAM region.

• Experience with composite products or technical contracts.
