What you will do

• Supervise individual contributors in a highly regulated laboratory environment.
• Perform and troubleshoot incoming inspections, manufacturing, and quality control tests.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and procedure enhancements.
• Oversee training records and provide guidance to personnel.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams including OPS, Engineering, and R&D.
• Ensure compliance with GLP and GMP standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience if degree is in CLS/MLS or 4.5+ years with a BS/BA in Biological Sciences.
• Current California State CLS or CGMBS license is required for the San Carlos site.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a regulated environment (GMP, ISO, CLIA, CAP).
• Proficiency in Molecular Biology techniques including PCR.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform laborious tasks in a laboratory setting.

Nice to have

• Relevant Molecular Biology and/or Cell Culture experience.
• Experience with writing SOPs and QC documentation.
