Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Glendale, CA, USA (Hybrid: 4 days/week in office)

Salary: $95,618 - $135,000 yearly

What you will do

• Analyze scripts to craft storyboards that interpret narrative pages and prompts.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and the head of story to establish the film's tone.
• Develop characters and refine sequences based on leadership feedback.
• Pitch storyboards to show leadership and editorial teams.
• Iterate rapidly on new ideas and storyboard refinements.
• Demonstrate efficient drawing skills to convey acting, staging, and action.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of acting, anatomy, perspective, staging, and composition.
• Ability to generate inventive ideas to enhance story material.
• Understanding of editorial processes and time management.
• Effective presentation skills for storyboard pitches.
• Must be able to work on-site in Glendale, CA, at least 4 days per week.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant work examples.

Nice to have

• Solid understanding of Photoshop or similar industry software.
• BA in Art, Animation, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in the animation industry.
