What you will do
- Define and defend the project’s animation vision and quality standards.
- Build and scale the animation team while ensuring professional development and autonomy.
- Optimize animation pipelines and introduce new tools and approaches.
- Manage the full production cycle, including motion capture and post-processing.
- Collaborate closely with production, art direction, and technical teams.
- Oversee outsourcing partners, including selection, task assignment, and quality control.
Requirements
- Must be willing to relocate to Serbia, Kazakhstan, or Cyprus.
- Proven experience leading an animation department and owning the full production cycle.
- Deep understanding of realistic animation for mobile, PC, and console platforms.
- Strong technical expertise in state machines, blending, retargeting, and IK/FK.
- Ability to create and maintain living animation style guides.
- Pragmatic approach to balancing quality with budget and timeline constraints.
