What you will do
- Advise product and engineering teams on legal implications of new features, specifically regarding AI, storefronts, and platform integrations.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory requirements across key jurisdictions like the US and EU to provide actionable product guidance.
- Draft and refine product-related contractual provisions and terms of service to ensure consistency with functionality and compliance.
- Establish standardized processes and risk assessment frameworks to scale legal input with product development speed.
- Maintain proactive communication with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure legal considerations are addressed early in the lifecycle.
- Contribute to ongoing legal team process improvements to support business growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience, with preference for in-house e-commerce or tech startup backgrounds.
- Master’s degree in Law.
- Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence, IT, intellectual property, and consumer protection laws.
- Proven ability to coordinate legal guidance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Good understanding of SaaS and digital product development operations.
- Fluent verbal and written English required.
