What you will do

• Identify and transform compelling stories into engaging television content through scripting, video editing, and graphics creation.
• Build running orders and manage live broadcasts from the production gallery under pressure.
• Contribute to digital news output by tailoring video content for online audiences and using social media for newsgathering.
• Brief presenters and manage guest bookings to ensure high-quality live output.
• Occasionally perform on-air reporting duties based on editorial requirements.

Requirements

• Significant experience in broadcast or multimedia journalism is essential.
• Proven track record in managing live and breaking news across rolling broadcasts or live blogs under tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of UK and global news with the ability to identify stories suitable for television.
• Proficiency in digital and television production tools, including video editing, graphics creation, and live-streaming.
• Excellent editorial judgment and writing skills.
