MES Software Engineer (.NET)

TL;DR

MES Software Engineer (.NET): Developing and optimizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for industrial production with an accent on end-to-end project leadership and Domain-Driven Design. Focus on building scalable .NET applications, integrating Oracle databases, and implementing Industry 4.0 concepts like AI and Machine Learning.

Location: Hybrid: Must be willing to work 3 to 4 days a week at hirify.global HQ in Mortsel, Belgium

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end software projects responsible for applications operating manufacturing plants.
• Design software models using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) by consulting with domain experts.
• Implement software using .NET Web API, .NET Blazor, and Oracle.
• Coordinate validation and deployment of new implementations using Git and Docker.
• Support and systematically refactor legacy software, including PL/SQL stored procedures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferably 3+ years of experience as a full-stack .NET software engineer.
• Fluent Dutch and conversational English.
• Ability to work 3 to 4 days a week onsite in Mortsel, Belgium.
• Strong analytical mind and result-oriented communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in project management.
