💥 We're hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Java)
💡 What you'll do:
• Design and evolve high-performance backend services for core product flows.
• Own services end-to-end: from architecture to production reliability.
• Tackle distributed systems challenges related to scalability and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to high-load systems with components operating at up to 50k RPS.
• Drive architectural decisions to enhance reliability and performance.
🎯 What we expect:
• Strong computer science fundamentals and production experience in backend engineering.
• Experience with distributed or microservice-based systems in production.
• Proficient in designing robust APIs and understanding scalable architectures.
• Hands-on with databases, asynchronous processing, and event-driven systems.
• Ownership mindset in implementation, testing, and production outcomes.
• English — at least pre-intermediate.
⭐ Nice to have:
• Experience with Java or readiness to ramp up quickly.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems like Kafka.
• Background in high-scale consumer products or live-streaming platforms.
