What you will do
- Architect, develop, and operate Golang and PHP backend services deployed to thousands of users.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and designers to identify and solve challenging problems for vendors, members, and corporate partners.
- Deliver testable, maintainable, high-quality code and take operational responsibility for developed components.
- Contribute to the company-wide backend cluster and help drive best engineering practices.
- Build an event-driven ecosystem by implementing service-to-service communication via PubSub events.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Backend Engineer with PHP, preferably also Golang.
- Experience with GCP and/or AWS and relevant managed cloud services.
- Experience working with stakeholders to understand, document, and develop APIs and systems to meet requirements.
- Experience building distributed, high-volume services and operating them in production.
- Strong system design skills, including data structures and algorithms.
