What you will do

• Independently own large parts of the writing process, including ideation, drafting, and iteration.
• Develop compelling characters and dialogue within a structured screenplay format.
• Collaborate closely with producers, designers, and other departments to integrate narrative into game systems.
• Provide notes and guidance to less experienced writers on the team.
• Support VO and performance capture sessions as needed.
• Maintain documentation to communicate story elements internally and externally.

Requirements

• English: C1+ required (excellent written and verbal skills).
• Previous experience as a Senior Writer on a shipped AAA first- or third-person game.
• Deep knowledge of story structure, characterization, and dialogue craft.
• Professional attitude toward feedback and ability to meet strict production deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Espoo, Finland.

Nice to have

• Experience working with actors and directors.
• Experience working in established franchises with existing lore and characters.
