Senior Design Engineer (React/TypeScript): Designing and developing API and integration surfaces for the Embedded Agreements track with an accent on developer experience and AI-native patterns. Focus on bridging the gap between design and engineering, prototyping AI-driven workflows via MCP and LLMs, and creating scalable production-grade React components.

Location: Remote within Europe (EU time zones). Optional hybrid work from offices in Kyiv, Warsaw, or Lisbon.

Salary: 31,000–40,000 PLN per month (for candidates based in Poland).

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design of API and integration surfaces, from developer-facing documentation to in-product connection flows.
• Design and prototype AI-native patterns for the ChatGPT app, Claude connector, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration.
• Develop production-grade React components rapidly, owning layout, interaction, accessibility, and performance.
• Partner with product and research to define strategies for an evolving audience of developers and power users.
• Act as the first Design Engineer at the company, establishing the function and mentoring designers on technical implementation.
• Utilize AI-first workflows in Cursor and Claude Code to deliver high-quality output.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a blend of professional design and front-end engineering.
• Fluency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
• Deep interest in developer experience (DX) and how APIs are consumed.
• Expert-level usage of Cursor and Claude Code in daily development workflows.
• Must be aligned with EU time zones.
