TL;DR

Frontend Developer (AEM): Developing and maintaining web applications within the Adobe Experience Manager ecosystem with an accent on component implementation and cross-browser compatibility. Focus on translating designs into functional markup, debugging complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality digital experiences.

Location: Must be based in San Jose, Costa Rica and able to work from the office a minimum of 3 days a week.

What you will do

  • Translate graphical designs and wireframes into fully styled markup code for AEM components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, Analytics, and QA to ensure quality delivery.
  • Implement technical solutions following best practices for HTL, Sling Models, and JCR concepts.
  • Debug and troubleshoot existing web applications to provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain clear documentation for all projects according to capability guidelines.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Nice to have

  • Experience in digital agency environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
