What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end MLOps workflows using AWS SageMaker Pipelines, Feature Store, and Model Registry.
• Enable consistent model promotion across dev, test, and production environments.
• Implement automated retraining strategies and mature the MLOps framework for versioning and release governance.
• Apply security-by-design using IAM roles and VPC-attached SageMaker resources.
• Develop model monitoring routines for drift detection, bias, and performance reporting.
• Partner with data scientists to productionise notebooks into managed, scalable inference solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK and able to work from London or Bristol offices.
• Strong hands-on experience with MLOps practices including CI/CD, versioning, and production monitoring.
• Deep expertise in AWS, specifically Amazon SageMaker for deployment and drift monitoring.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
• Proficiency in designing observability for serverless systems using logs, metrics, and traces.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, and VPC networking.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and model explainability.
• AWS certifications such as DevOps Engineer Professional or Machine Learning Engineer Associate.
