Technical Lead (Automotive)

Location: Hybrid in Tokyo, Japan

What you will do

• Design and develop automotive/mobile OTA E2E solutions for Cloud and On-premise environments.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specifications for global teams.
• Lead code reviews, implement system components, and perform unit testing.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation testing environments.
• Analyze technical issues and provide recommendations to improve software quality.
• Mentor team members to elevate the team's technical proficiency.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in development of web application systems, services, or embedded OS platforms.
• Proficiency in C, Java, or modern languages such as C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and networking.
• Native level Japanese proficiency.
• Comprehensive English skills for reporting and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Embedded OS software programming (Linux, Android, QNX).
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, JUnit, Cucumber, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with modern web development: Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and REST API.
• Experience with databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Cloud Services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
