What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable back-end services, APIs, and database architectures.
• Build and maintain reliable data pipelines from raw ingestion to reporting.
• Define, set, and track goal metrics, creating dashboards for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Design experiments and analyze A/B tests to optimize features and user experiences.
• Develop predictive models and recommendation systems to personalize user journeys.
• Take end-to-end ownership of technical projects from initial design to production release.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in back-end or full-stack engineering with meaningful data science or analytics experience.
• Strong proficiency in a server-side language, preferably Python (Node.js, Ruby, or Java also welcome).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proven track record of building data pipelines and implementing logging and instrumentation.
• Experience setting up and running experiments to measure product impact.
• Must be located in or work on-site in San Francisco, CA.
