Salary: $266,000 – $395,000

What you will do

• Develop and refine detection content across SIEM and EDR to protect high-value AI assets and infrastructure.
• Lead end-to-end incident investigations and transform findings into automation, playbooks, or controls.
• Remediate production vulnerabilities and harden systems in partnership with engineering teams.
• Perform security reviews of high-level architectures and code changes to establish reusable standards.
• Develop production-grade security tooling and services using Python and Go.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Data Center Operations, and Legal to implement security improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated security engineering experience or an equivalent engineering background with formal security training.
• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco, San Jose, or Bellevue offices 4 days per week.
• Strong hands-on Linux experience for protecting both applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages for building production-grade tools.
• Experience thriving in high-speed, high-ambiguity startup environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure security and protecting model weights.
• Track record of driving evidence for compliance audits such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
• Experience operating large-scale production services (SRE) or virtualization at scale (KVM, Xen).
• Experience deploying SIEM, SOAR, EDR, or honeypot systems.
