What you will do
- Own end-to-end QA within sprints, including test strategy, planning, and execution.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and release certification testing on real devices and simulators.
- Conduct network-aware testing and manual REST API validation for mobile backends.
- Perform hands-on memory and performance profiling using Xcode Instruments and Android Studio.
- Deliver weekly Quality Release Reports covering metrics like crash-free users, ANR rates, and defect density.
- Collaborate with the automation team to prioritize and audit high-value automation scenarios.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on QA experience with iOS and Android consumer applications.
- Must be based in Central Europe to align with team operations.
- Proven ability to own sprint QA processes and communicate effectively without supervision.
- Strong grasp of mobile release trains, crash/analytics tooling, and client-server interactions.
- Proficiency with Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, Charles Proxy, and Jira.
- Excellent written and spoken English for documentation and defect reporting.
Nice to have
- Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Familiarity with IAP, subscriptions, deep links, and geo-features.
- Exposure to mobile automation frameworks like XCUITest, Espresso, or Maestro.
- Experience with performance profiling (startup time, memory, battery, network sensitivity).
