Fullstack Developer (.NET/Vue.js) (Accounting Platform Modernization): Rebuilding and modernizing a business-critical internal accounting platform with an accent on scalable .NET and Vue.js applications, reliable integrations, and microservices architecture. Focus on designing RESTful APIs, optimizing SQL Server and MongoDB, improving platform reliability, and applying AI-powered engineering workflows.
Location: Madrid, Spain; office presence and in-person collaboration are prioritised
Company
is hiring for a newly forming engineering team modernizing an internal accounting platform and integrating it with internal systems.
What you will do
- Build scalable, high-performance applications using .NET and Vue.js.
- Modernize legacy solutions and help shape the platform architecture.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture.
- Optimize SQL Server and MongoDB queries, indexing, transactions, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and improve platform reliability through engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with .NET Core or .NET Framework.
- 3+ years of hands-on Vue.js experience, including Vue 2 and Vue 3.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, working with microservices, and applying object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
- Experience with MongoDB, Azure, Agile/Scrum, and production troubleshooting using monitoring tools such as New Relic or Grafana.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Nice to have
- SQL Server performance tuning, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Camunda, third-party integrations, AI-enabled customer-facing applications, and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, BDD, TDD, NUnit, and Playwright.
