Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Remote-first within Spain; candidates must be based in Spain and have a work permit to work in Spain. Barcelona office access is available.

Salary: €38,000–€50,000 per year, based on professional experience.

What you will do

• Build reliable, testable features across the frontend and backend stack.
• Work with Product, Design, and Engineering to understand user needs, explore solutions, and shape product decisions.
• Develop interactive interfaces with React and Redux and backend systems with Node and Express.
• Own problems from research and solution design through implementation, debugging, and upgrades.
• Write technical documentation and contribute to efficient cross-functional delivery.
• Use AI and modern development tools responsibly while maintaining strong engineering judgment and code quality.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack development.
• Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and end-to-end feature delivery.
• Strong experience with React and backend development with Node.js.
• Comfort working across the stack, with a product-oriented and pragmatic approach to technology.
• Ownership, autonomy, clear communication, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Comfortable spoken Spanish, written English, residence in Spain, and a Spanish work permit are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in startup or scaleup environments and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Redux, Express, MongoDB, Hexagonal Architecture, or Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience working in ambiguous environments and contributing beyond implementation.
