What you will do

• Lead the delivery of production-grade systems, reference architectures, and custom AI/ML applications for strategic customers.
• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines and AI model integrations.
• Own architecture and design decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and follow best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to provide feedback and guide the product roadmap.
• Embed with customer teams, from technical contributors to executives, to solve complex data challenges.
• Develop reusable assets, frameworks, and accelerators to scale impact across multiple accounts.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data engineering, software engineering, or data platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep experience with Apache Spark and its runtime internals.
• Experience designing and deploying performant production end-to-end data architectures.
• Must be based in London, UK and available to travel to customers 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Databricks Certification.
