Quantum Research Community Manager

Location: Paris, hybrid workplace; ability and willingness to travel across France and Europe. Remote policy available for up to 40% per month.

Alice & Bob develops fault-tolerant quantum computers using superconducting cat qubits and is transitioning from research to commercial deployment at major HPC centers.

What you will do

• Track user satisfaction, equipment usage, adoption, and the quality of the user experience.
• Support research initiatives, scientific publications, and active projects by mobilizing internal subject-matter experts.
• Map and engage quantum research communities while tracking global research trends.
• Organize trainings, workshops, and educational initiatives with internal experts.
• Synthesize user feedback into actionable insights for product and sales teams and manage non-urgent user inquiries.
• Represent Alice & Bob at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in customer-facing environments and educational initiatives.
• MSc or PhD in quantum computing, quantum engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in software development, ideally with Python.
• Ability and willingness to travel across France and Europe.
• Adaptive communication style with experience engaging scientific, technical, and executive-level audiences.
• Fluent French and English.
• Analytical, forward-thinking mindset with a track record of taking initiative and solving complex problems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of quantum error correction or bosonic qubits.
• Experience building research collaborations or preparing grant applications.
