What you will do
- Provide 2nd-level support for core banking applications to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Process incident tickets within agreed SLAs and coordinate with 3rd-level support and business stakeholders.
- Manage batch job scheduling and monitoring using tools like Automic AWA or Control-M.
- Perform periodical on-call duties (24/7 weekly rotation) and handle weekend deployments.
- Drive process optimization and automation of repetitive tasks to facilitate handover to L1.
- Maintain application operation documentation and perform routine data cleansing.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT-related certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in application support.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (shell scripting) and Windows Server OS.
- Familiarity with Java application servers, databases, and workload automation tools.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- English: Good written and spoken proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Experience in banking or financial services with knowledge of financial products.
- Proven ability to manage small teams or demonstrated project management skills.
