Implementation Consultant (Application Security): Implementing and integrating application security solutions (SAST, SCA, DAST) into customer SDLC and DevOps environments with an accent on solution design and integration development. Location: Tokyo (Ability to travel up to 40%)

What you will do

• Design application security, quality, and compliance solutions based on specific business requirements.
• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initial planning through execution and completion.
• Integrate Black Duck solutions into customer SDLC and DevOps environments.
• Act as a technical advisor, providing best practices for software security and testing.
• Collaborate with internal account teams to monitor project progress and customer success.
• Identify opportunities to expand solution adoption within existing customer environments.

Requirements

• Knowledge of application security concepts and vulnerabilities.
• Experience in software development using Java, C/C++, C#, or similar languages.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to travel up to approximately 40% as required.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical consulting or professional services delivery.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP.
• Experience with both SaaS and on-premise deployments.
• Knowledge of security testing and network protocols.
